BluGrass Technologies is an IT managed services provider for customers across all of the GCC that cover complex business needs in the simplest forms using cloud computing, AI, and in-house customized software solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Team Manager to join our Beirut office.

The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science, a proven track record of, software development, pre-sales skills and integration, plus excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a group of developers who will work to improve existing solutions and come up with new ones based on what customers want.
• Lead a cross-functional team of highly skilled consultants to coordinate the planning and implementation of MS SharePoint, CRM, Mobile Applications, HRMS, and ITSM solutions.
• Provide effort estimation and resource allocation for tasks assigned to the team.
• Assist other developers with technical issues and validate their tasks on the assigned projects.
• Coordinate project progress between engineers and the project management team.
• Be actively involved proposal preparation stage.
• Manage products developed by BluGrass Technologies following the Agile Methodology.
• Conduct training for end users on cutting edge topics such as IOT, AI, 5G, and robotics.
• Be actively involved in the technical design, code reviews, pair programming, and technical support.
• Be an advocate of agile and DevOps practices, and propose ways to improve our existing practices.
• Oversee all operational aspects including administrative for Beirut Office.

Requirements:

Work experience:

• 6 to 10 years of relevant experience evolving and maintaining complex enterprise applications, with a focus on software development.
• Experience leading and managing a team of software developers.
• Strong experience with programming skills such as C#, Python, and React JS
• Strong SQL database and web environments
• Knowledge about the CI/CD is a plus.
• Experience using REST APIs and SOAP web services
• Previous experience working in an agile team
• Knowledge about the security best practices
• Strong experience using the Scrum framework
• Good leadership skills     

Other Requirements:

• Team player experienced in working in an agile environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Flexibility and ability to perform under pressure

• Job based in: Lebanon – Beirut
• Working days: Monday-Friday
• Working hours: From 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• Monthly Salary: Will be discussed during the interview
• Other benefits: Insurance Class B 
• Travel Percentage: 15-20%
